FAQ
Marble restoration questions.
Can marble benchtops be restored?
+
Yes. Marble can be honed, polished and re-sealed to restore its appearance. Stains, etch marks and surface dullness can usually be removed or significantly improved.
How do you remove etch marks from marble?
+
We use progressive diamond honing and polishing to remove the etched layer, then re-seal the surface. The finish is restored to a honed or polished sheen depending on your preference.
Should marble benchtops be sealed?
+
Yes. Marble is porous and should be sealed with a premium penetrating sealer. Re-sealing every 12–24 months is recommended for kitchen and bathroom use.
