Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all stone repair, restoration, sealing, inspection and reporting work carried out by Stone Surface Solutions (“we”, “us”). By accepting a quote, engaging us, or using this website, you agree to them.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are based on the information and photographs supplied. If site conditions differ materially — additional damage, access limitations, or hidden defects only visible on inspection — we will discuss any variation with you before proceeding.
Workmanship
All repair, restoration and sealing work is carried out to a professional standard and covered by a workmanship guarantee against defects in the work itself, for 12 months from completion. This guarantee does not cover: subsequent impact damage; failure of adjoining materials (cabinetry, adhesives, substrate); movement of the underlying structure; or misuse.
Materials and colour matching
Repairs to natural and engineered stone are colour-matched on-site to minimise visibility. Because stone is a natural (or naturally-veined) material, an exact match at zero viewing distance is not always possible. Our repairs are designed to be invisible at normal viewing distance and to restore structural integrity.
Access and site conditions
You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area, functional utilities (power, water where relevant), and clearing the workspace prior to the visit. Extended access delays may incur additional charges.
Insurance reports and assessments
Where we provide standalone insurance assessments or crack investigation reports, our findings are independent and reflect our professional opinion based on the evidence available at the time of inspection. Acceptance or rejection of a claim remains a matter for your insurer.
Payment
Payment terms are stated on your quote. Standard terms are due on completion for residential work; commercial and insurance work is 14 days from invoice unless otherwise agreed.
Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those Acts apply.
