Older granite kitchens through Red Beach and Stanmore Bay often need a refresh — chips along the sink cut-out, edge wear from heavy use, and a buildup of cooking residue that responds beautifully to a deep clean and re-seal. Quartzite islands in higher-spec Gulf Harbour and Army Bay homes take a particularly deep polish that reveals their full movement and depth.

Crack investigation is another part of the Whangaparāoa service. Coastal homes occasionally show foundation movement, joinery settling and engineered-stone stress cracks that need a clear diagnosis.
